Church Summer Fete
We hope that you and your friends and family can join us for our Church Summer Fete on Saturday 8th July 2017 opening at 2.00 pm at Walcotts Hall by kind invitation of Mr Simon Hall.
Refreshments, Stalls, Cakes, Swimming for children, Raffles, Ice Creams, Games, Activities and Plants, Books and Bottle stall and musical entertainment to enjoy in the lovely garden.

MU Coffee Morning
Join us for our Coffee Morning on Wednesday 21st June from 10.00 am at Greenlands Farm, Lamberts Lane by kind invitation of Carol and David Williams. Tea, coffee, cakes and refreshments will be served, and a bring and buy stall and raffle will be held to raise funds for the Mothers’ Union Summer Appeal. Enjoy time to chat over coffee and the lovely garden at Greenlands Farm. All welcome.

Edward Bear Picnic The Edward Bear Picnic for babies and under 5s and their parents and carers will take place on Friday 7th July from 2 – 3.00 pm at the Rectory, Geat Tey. Please bring your teddy bears with you and some picnic goodies to share with everyone. Christian Aid
Thank you to those who delivered and collected envelopes during Christian Aid Week; especially the year 6 children at Great Tey Primary School. At the time of writing the total amount raised is £937.21 so thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s appeal which will go towards helping refugees. The total amount raised, with the school’s Big Brekkie total, will be included in next month’s Round & About, with many thanks, Jane Richardson

Sunday Club
Sunday Club meets on the fourth Sunday of each month at Great Tey Church at 9.30 am during the Parish Communion Service. Sunday Club is for primary school aged children
and younger ones are very welcome if accompanied by a parent/carer. We share a bible story, and enjoy activities with arts and crafts- the next dates for Sunday Club are:

Mothers’ Union
Members and guests enjoyed our Songs of Praise service in May and the June meeting when our speaker was Mrs. Marion Ketley, former Diocesan President. Our Garden Meeting will take place on Thursday 20th July at the Rectory, Great Tey at 2.30pm; all welcome. Charity Stall at Coggeshall
Once again Freda and Pauline will kindly be running the Charity Stall at Coggeshall Market on Thursday 17th August from 8.00 am. All donations of cakes, preserves, produce and items to sell will be gratefully received please – these can be passed on to Freda King, Pauline Mattin or brought to the Rectory. Coggeshall Market is well worth a visit with a greengrocers stall, fishmonger, cheese man, bakery stall and local produce. We hope to see you there

60s, 70s and 80s Dance
Make a date in your diary for the 60s, 70s and 80s Dance with live music from Peter George on Saturday 16th September in the Marquee at Park Field, Walcotts Hall from 7 – 11 pm by kind invitation of Mr. Simon Hall.
