Great Tey Drop In Centre
Last month’s Drop-In was a bit different to normal as we were all invited to Great Tey School to be entertained by the children, and what a delightful time we had too. We had singing (in French and English), recorder playing and bell ringing and then some of the older children showed us their latest project. The tunes were quite recognisable and brought back memories from when my sons were at school. The work books the children showed us were about rivers and unbelievable neat – not something I remember about my sons when they were at school!! So a thank you to everyone at the school for a lovely afternoon.
Next month’s Drop-In will be back in the Village Hall, usual time (2-4pm) Thursday 8th July, and as it is close to Wimbledon we will be having strawberries, cream and scones. So please mark the date on your calendars as we would love to see as many people as can make it.
