Village Week End Pub Quiz Night,

A gentle reminder that the Pub Quiz will be kicking off our village week-end celebrations on Friday 25th June at 7.30 at The Chequers.
If you have not done so already please reserve your tables of a maximum of 6 people. Please do come along and support both the Chequers and the village in what has proved to be an enjoyable and successful night for all ages. Space is limited to around 90 on a first come first served basis. The cost is £4 per person payable preferably in advance to ensure numbers are accurate and we do not need to turn people away.
Donated raffle prizes most welcome either on the night or in advance ……

The Summer Has Arrived..!
…Well we think so anyway. The Chequers hopes to see you all during the summer. Especially on those hot days that require a cold beverage to cool you down!!
Whether you’re after a light lunch or something a little more substantial, our new menu will have something for you. Singapore Chicken, Cajun Salmon, Lamp Rump, or something a little more traditional, come down and give it a try. From classic lunches, summer light bites to hearty evening meals…
To help save those pennies we’re still running our Friday Night special. Every Friday from 6.30pm either an 8oz rump steak with chips and peas or scampi chips and peas for just £6!! (Booking advised). As well as our lunch special for £8.50 including a main course, dessert and coffee…
